2017 Made in the West is OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS!

July 22, 2017

Still Searchin’ Productions is proud to announce the 2017 Made in the West Film Festival is officially OPEN for submissions!

We’ve been working on some great projects lately (read more about Night Owls and Mould here!) but we're still pretty excited about gearing up for Made in the West festival season!

Have you made a short film this year that features a location, cast or crew member
from Western Sydney?

All genres of film are welcome: doco’s, mocko’s, drama, horror, music videos, animation, coms and rom-coms… You name it, we wanna see it on the big screen! Check out the Entry Criteria for more information – but with no restrictions on exclusive screening rights, compulsory signature items or genre specifications – your creativity is free to reign!

SSP is proud to, once again, sponsor the highly coveted Audience Choice Award. That’s right: at the end of the night we count the votes for the crowd's favourite film and one lucky winner goes home with a shiny trophy!

Still Searchin’ Productions has supported Made in the West from its inception and humble
beginnings in 2012” says Ross Page, SSP founder and director. “Since then, we’ve helped to screen
almost 100 short films, given out thousands of dollars of prizes, and brought together emerging and
established filmmakers with industry representatives.”

Made in the West Film Festival is an inclusive event celebrating Western Sydney's emerging and
established film talent – join us for a marathon film screening of Western Sydney's best flicks of 2017 on Saturday 25th November.

SUBMIT YOUR FILM NOW! Earlybird offer ends 3rd October with final entries closing 10th November 2017. Visit the website for more information!
